Players may not enter three singles or three doubles events.

Tournament Rules

1. Tournament reserves the right to refuse any applicant.
2. All entries must be received by 5:00 PM on 7/6/99. An earlier entry ensures qualified players a place in the draw.
3. Any open event with less than eight entries will be cancelled. Players will be notified
4. Both players on a doubles team must be identified and qualified.
5. Scoring will be No-Ad, 2 out of 3 sets, 12 point tiebreaker at 6-all until semi-finals. Ad-scoring will be implemented in semis and finals.
6. Tournament officials may levy point penalties after a warning of misconduct in a match, and for reporting late to the tournament desk. (There is no warning for tardiness penalty.) Penalties: 1 game for each 5 minutes and default after 15 minutes.
7. Players must report to the tournament 15 minutes before match time. BRING YOUR TIMECARD TO THE FIRST MATCH OF EACH EVENT
8. Warm-up limit is ten minutes.
9. Players needing housing must make a formal request by 6/30/99 to be considered.
10. If you haven't received your match time by Tuesday, July 13, call (408) 732-2130. Use this number to verify your mailed times.
11. Relatives and doubles partners will be placed in opposite halves of the draw if possible.
12. Invited players may enter another player in the tournament. The tournament director will determine eligibility.
13. Please send your recent tournament results for seeding consideration.

$5,300 in total prize money will be awarded, plus trophies
